About Us

We are a team of Psychologists based in Melbourne, dedicated to supporting individuals of all ages. Our practice provides a peaceful and secure environment, allowing you to engage in meaningful work to build and sustain a strong psychological foundation for everyday life.

We believe that achieving lasting change requires effort and patience, and we avoid quick fixes or oversimplified solutions. Our approach involves targeting significant challenges while also focusing on the small, daily actions that can lead to meaningful improvements in your mental health and overall wellbeing.

Our services primarily cater to clients in the Inner-South region of Melbourne. For those who are unable to visit us in person, we also offer convenient online therapy options.

Our Team

Dr. Bernadette (Bee) Maunick

Clinical Psychology Registrar

BA, GradD, DPsych (Clinical)

I strive to create a space where you feel at ease and supported as you share your experiences and explore more about yourself. My therapeutic approach is warm, empathetic, and approachable. I focus on working collaboratively with you to ensure our sessions address what matters most to you and empower you to support yourself effectively outside of therapy.

I primarily use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and Schema Therapy, but I am also skilled in other approaches such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, depending on your needs or preferences. In our sessions, I will help you gain insight into how past experiences affect your present life and guide you in understanding and expressing your emotions more comfortably.

I have experience working with individuals across various stages of life in both private and public mental health settings. As a practitioner who values inclusivity, I am committed to providing a safe and affirming environment for everyone seeking therapy.

Feel free to reach out with any questions. I look forward to speaking with you soon at BCM Psychology.
